Dr. Daniel Fontenot
"Importance of Early Diagnosis of Heart Disease"


Dr. Daniel Fontenot, a native of Ville Platte, LA, completed his undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge, LA.  He received his medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA.  His postgraduate training included an internship and residency at Yale University School of Medicine Norwalk Hospital Program in Norwalk, Connecticut.  Subsequently Dr. Fontenot completed his cardiology fellowship at Alton Ochsner Medical Foundation in New Orleans, LA. 

After completing his postgraduate training, Dr. Fontenot joined Baton Rouge Cardiology Center (BRCC) in 1993.  Board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular diseases, he brings years of experience to the Baton Rouge Cardiology Center team.
